The foundation is the same female-focused fit that defines all Hettas footwear: a narrowed heel that stays locked without pressure, a rounded instep, and a stretchy breathable toe box.
The Speed leverages our firmest, race-ready iteration of our VeloPropulsion system. A Pebax plate works with a responsive layer of supercritical foam to deliver direct ground feedback, rapid rebound, and efficient toe-off mechanics. This tuned stiffness supports quick turnover with less metatarsal or sacrum strain, as is common with carbon-plated shoes.

Smarter heel fit
Our nitrogen pocket heel locks the foot in place without pressing on the Achilles. By contouring the heel specifically for women’s anatomy with a lower ankle collar, we deliver a secure, stable fit that stays comfortable run after run.
Velopropulsion midsole
Layered supercritical foam paired with a Pebax plate delivers controlled impact, smooth transitions, and efficient energy return. Unlike rigid carbon plates, Pebax allows natural forefoot flexibility while still driving a powerful toe-off—reducing jarring landings and stress on joints.
Breathable upper
Women can experience toe splay, upward-angled toenails, and bunions, so we optimized the toe box through material choice. Our mesh stretches to accommodate toes—without poking through—and has memory, so it holds its shape.
