I am grateful to have these lovely new running shoes.

I have only worn them once partly because of the rainy weather

and partly because they are a lot less cushioned than my New Balance 1080's.

After wearing them one time, my shins were a little sore, so I put them aside for now.

I'll try them again another time. I may get use to running in them.

BEST running shoes to date!! (& I’ve tried way too many 🥲)

I have tried a lotttt of big named running shoes as I started my running journey back up & consistently was working to find the right stability with the right cushion but also wasn’t super heavy & these are by far the BEST shoes I’ve tried to date! I randomly stumbled across the brand on instagram & was instantly intrigued due to the fact that it’s made for female runners AND research based.

I usually wear a 5.5/6 in most of my shoes & did receive input from customer service to stick to 6 (their customer service is top tier) & while I was slightlyyy skeptical when I first put them on out of the box, after adjusting my laces I found that this size was perfect for me!! While my biggest driver of skepticism was the fact that they were more narrow than some of my other shoes, I found this to be the biggest reason why I LOVE THEM. They fit my foot like a glove in the best way possible, and my feet don’t shift in them like in other shoes. I find that while the start of my runs don’t necessarily feel significantly better than maybe some other shoes, the ENDS of my runs feel so much better! The perfect balance between fit, stability, and cushion without feeling like I’m being weighed down.

I do love that they come with an added pair of insoles in case someone’s looking for a different fit, but I was able to stick with the standard (I just think from a relatively smaller brand to even consider that & provide them free of charge shows the culture of the brand). And I lowkey love…

    Almost Perfect

I don't love having to re-lace the shoes when they arrive and I find the upper a bit flimsy which can make it hard to get the shoes on without unlacing them way more than other shoes but, once I do get the shoes on, I love them! The fit is fantastic on my narrow foot, my ankle bones don't get rubbed which is a huge issue for me in most brands, and the shoes offer really good support. For these reasons, I am willing to put up with a bit of a struggle to get the shoes on and will definitely be purchasing Hettas again when I need new shoes.

    Absolutely love

I have super narrow feet and ankles and needed to buy a shoe that was better adapted to concrete running. After trying on about 20 pairs or so of different types of shoes in two different running stores, I tried these on and they are amazing. I wear through shoes really quickly and we are going on six months with no obvious signs of wear. I love how they hug my ankles, I love the fit of the shoe. I have re-occurring tendinitis and plantar fasciitis so I need to be so careful with my shoes and fit and they have been so wonderful. About to take them out for a run right now. All my friends are looking into them now because I won't shut up about how much I love them.

    SEC Distance Runner Review

As a collegiate runner logging 60+ miles per week, I’m picky about my running shoes—but the Hettas didn’t disappoint! Right out of the box, they felt lightweight yet durable, which is a tough combo to nail. The cushioning strikes the perfect balance between soft and responsive, making them ideal for both tempo runs and longer mileage days.

One thing I really loved was the fit—it’s snug but not restrictive, giving my feet the support they need without feeling cramped. The traction held up even on wet roads, and the breathability kept my feet cool during harder efforts.

After a few weeks of training in these, I can confidently say they’ve earned a spot in my rotation. If you’re looking for a shoe that combines performance and comfort, the Hettas are worth a try.
